Submit your hub for
the 2026 selection.

Hub Selection Switzerland evaluates Swiss startup hubs across four disciplines: Pre-Incubation, Incubation, Acceleration, and Venture Building. Registration takes about three minutes — followed by an in-depth assessment of about 25 minutes. Your responses are evaluated by ZHAW researchers, supplemented with anonymous alumni feedback, and published through NZZ in October 2026.

A · Discipline

Which discipline best reflects your hub?

Comparison happens within disciplines, not across them. A pre-incubator is judged against other pre-incubators, never against a venture builder.

The 60% rule
Choose the discipline that accounts for at least 60% of your activity. If your hub operates a hybrid model where no single discipline reaches 60%, select your strongest one — you'll be invited to a 15-minute classification call with the ZHAW research team.
A1 · PRE-INCUBATION
Pre-Incubation
Idea spaces, university programmes, community groups for very early-stage founders before formal incorporation.

Long-term support with offices, network access, and ongoing coaching. No fixed time horizon, typically 6–24 months.
