There is not one Coach Selection.
There are four.

Coaching is not coaching. A patent attorney guiding MedTech startups through IP strategy does something fundamentally different from a growth coach scaling SaaS scale-ups. That is why we create four independent rankings – with the same methodology, but calibrated to the reality of each coaching discipline.

No cross-type comparison. A Diamond Specialist Coach is a Diamond Specialist Coach – not “better” or “worse” than a Diamond Business Coach. Both are at the top of their discipline.

Register with your work email and select your coaching discipline. No subscription required. Your profile is private until you choose to publish it.

Complete the self-assessment

Answer structured questions across the five dimensions – founder feedback, track record, expertise, founder fit, and availability. You can save your progress and return at any time. Sensitive fields (hourly rates, client names) are never published.

Nominate up to 10 accompanied founders for feedback

You nominate between 4 and 10 founders you have genuinely accompanied. We contact them with a standardised 10-item survey. Without at least 4 returned reviews, your profile receives a Provisional status – without official Selection Status.

Receive your score & badge

Your profile is submitted and reviewed now – your final score and badge will be issued in October 2026. You decide whether to publish your result. If your score is below the Silver threshold, nothing is published without your consent. Accepted profiles are published in the ranking with your website and LinkedIn link — directly visible to Swiss founders searching for coaches in your discipline.

  • Sell or license your profile data to lead providers

What coaches
question critically.

Without at least 4 returned founder reviews (max. 10), your profile is marked as "Provisional" — without official Selection Status. This is deliberately strict: a verified status must be based on verifiable founder experience, not self-assessments alone. Hubs and programmes can help by connecting you with founder contacts from past cohorts.
No. Each coach discipline has its own completely separate ranking with its own Diamond, Platinum, Gold, and Silver tiers. Selection Badges always carry the discipline suffix (e.g. "Diamond · Specialist Coach Selection 2026"). Every founder knows at first glance what the status stands for.
Founders you have accompanied for at least three coaching sessions, with their consent. Active ongoing engagements and completed ones count equally. You may exclude individual founders from the survey (e.g. in case of active disputes) — this is transparently noted but has no score impact.
Founder feedback only flows into the score from 4 independent reviews and is displayed exclusively in aggregated form. Outliers are statistically buffered by Trimmed Mean (top and bottom 12.5%). Plausibility cross-checks flag conspicuous patterns for re-verification.
Track Record for coaches does not measure exits, but coaching impact: number of startups accompanied, proportion reaching milestones (funding, pivot, market readiness), notable cases, and hub affiliations. Pro-bono coaches are explicitly not penalised — the compensation model flows positively into "Availability & Accessibility".
Yes. The bucketing thresholds are calibrated so that younger coaches can also reach Silver and Gold — but the upper tiers (Platinum/Diamond) are reserved for established coaches with a verifiable track record and strong founder feedback. You can see transparently in the dashboard which items you can still improve.
Innosuisse coach status (Start-up, Scale-up, Special), Venturelab accreditation, and hub affiliations (FONGIT, EPFL Innovation Park, etc.) are verified as objective third-party data. They count in the sub-indices "Expertise" and "Track Record" as high-quality substantive evidence.
